How to Install a Flagpole Christmas Tree (ft. Topper Light Hook)

Ho ho ho, Santa’s coming to town! If you want him to drop by your house and drop some gifts this year, why don’t we get into his good graces by jazzing it up with some Christmas cheer, huh? 

The best way to make sure he doesn’t miss  your stop is by putting up a well-lit, creative, and a holly jolly Christmas tree in your yard. And we have just the perfect thing to make that happen!

 

A Flagpole Mega Topper is a light hook that transforms a flagpole into a Christmas tree effortlessly, perfect for outdoor areas like your yard. As they have a universal design, these toppers fit all telescoping and non-telescoping flagpoles with detachable finials. The size of this mega topper light hook is 7 inches in width, 5 inches in diameter, and 1 ¾ inches in height – accommodating a base that measures up to 4 inches.

 

 

 

 

 

Now let’s get right into installation! There are two sets of instructions provided below; one is a guide for standard flagpole installation, while the second one is a guide for telescoping pole installation.

 

 

1. No need for a clamping adapter

You can skip using the provided adapter; it's not necessary for setting up the standard pole.

 

2. Safely attach the Christmas tree topper

Find the two top eyelets on the standard pole, and tie a strong rope between these eyelets.

 

 

 

3. Connect the Christmas tree topper

Attach the carabiner to the middle of the rope and secure the Christmas Tree Topper to the carabiner.

 

4. Illuminate with lights

Slide Christmas lights between the teeth of the Christmas Tree Mega Topper and the hoist. Ensure the lights are evenly spread out.

 

 

 

 

5. Adjust the height

Raise or lower the ring until the Christmas Tree Topper reaches your preferred height.

 

6. Keep the lights secure

Extend each light strand and use stakes to anchor them, keeping the lights securely in place.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Use the clamping adapter

For the telescoping pole, use the clamping adapter provided in the package.

 

2. Adjust the pole height

Collapse the telescoping pole. Then, secure the Christmas Tree Mega Topper at the topmost section or at your preferred height using the clamping adapter.

 

3. Install the Christmas lights

Place the Christmas lights between the teeth of the Christmas Tree Mega Topper and the pole. Ensure the lights are evenly distributed.

 

 

 

4. Raise the Christmas tree topper

Elevate the telescoping pole, lifting the Christmas Tree Mega Topper to your desired height.

 

 

 

 

5. Secure the lights in place

Extend each light strand and use stakes to anchor them, ensuring the lights stay securely in position.
